A unique opportunity to build your own business within the challenging market of electrical power conversion for superyachts in Northern Europe. 


ASEA Power Systems, a subsidiary of Mission Critical Electronics (‘MCE’), is a US-based producer and global market leader of high-end electrical power converters. Our focus market is the power conversion from shore power to onboard electrical power systems for superyachts.


The role:

Reporting to the President, you will be our representation in North and Central Europe with coverage to include but not be limited to the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Scandinavia. As a Sales manager, you will recognize and develop opportunities in the market. You will provide the best service to our current clients and you will advise them with a good business sense. You will hunt for new clients including OEM builders, refit yards and marina docked vessels.

Besides your commercial activities, you will support the process from order to installation and commissioning/start up. At first you will work remotely, preferably from the Netherlands or Northern Germany.

Overtime, you may be called upon to drive sales for other MCE Marine brands: Xantrex and Newmar as well as supporting the central and southern European regions.

Key responsibilities of the job:

  • Sales pipeline development and strategic account planning; know where the business is – ours and our competitors – and how to win
  • Lead and coordinate the service activity and development of service and refit revenue streams
  • Identify industry trends; the competitive landscape; customer requirements for products, solutions and services

Vereisten

Key requirements for our new sales manager:

You are a positive spirited and energetic entrepreneur with outstanding communication skills on every level (from installer to executive level). Making decisions based on facts and analysis is your first nature, but you trust your gut feeling. You are focused on the client with a streetwise business sense. Besides this you have:

  • Completed education on a bachelor level
  • Technical knowledge of electronics and/or power supply. Knowledge of converters and MCE Marine Division Brands would close the deal!
  • A proven track record in sales of complex technical equipment
  • The ability to work very independently supported by an international team and reporting to the US HQ.
